Martial Law is not Martial Law
Canada formally passed Trudeau's Emergency Act (02/21/2021) after the emergency was over.  ( 185 for 151 against).  “Even though the blockades are lifted across border openings right now, even though things seem to be resolving very well in Ottawa, this state of emergency is not over,” (Trudeau) said.

Facebook fact checkers have also decided that martial law is not martial law and censored use of the assertion across it’s platforms: a sure sign of “double think” in play.  The caption on a Facebook video says, "Trudeau declares Emergencies Act amounting to near martial law in Canada."  False, according to fact checkers.

“The law will be used to "strengthen police powers to impose fines and imprison people; compel tow-truck companies to help clear blockades; allow banks to freeze the personal and corporate accounts of individual protesters without a court order; and subject crowdfunding companies to anti-money laundering and terrorist financing rules," the Toronto Globe and Mail  reported.

Trudeau has said he will not call in the military as part of the Emergencies Act. He also said fundamental rights will not be suspended.
